Sylomer® – THE LEADING MATERIAL FOR VIBRATION ISOLATION
Sylomer® is one of the leading materials in the vibration isolation market. In the case of railway lines, vibrations and noise are reduced, while maintenance costs are also significantly lowered. Sylomer® ensures that rooms affected by vibration are pleasant to use. Ten different types of Sylomer® are available as standard – as well as our special type Sylomer® Fire-retardant. The properties of the material can also be modified in order to meet specific requirements.

Sylodyn® – THE MATERIAL FOR THE MOST STRINGENT REQUIREMENTS
Sylodyn® is used as a vibration protection solution on local and inter-city railway lines, but also for isolating impact noise in floors and on stairs, as a bearing for buildings or machines, or for isolating noise between walls, floors and ceilings. Sylodyn® is a closed-cell elastomer that does not absorb water. In comparison to Sylomer®, the material offers improved dynamic properties. Five different types of Sylodyn® as well as three different types of Sylodyn® HRB HS are available from stock. Its properties can however be tailored in order to meet specific requirements.

Sylodamp® – THE ELASTIC MATERIAL FOR HIGH MATERIAL DAMPING
With highly effective material damping, Sylodamp® ensures impressive impact insulation. To meet the widely varying requirements for impact load types, Getzner has developed a product range with six finely graduated material types. Sylodamp® is not only a valuable damper for machines, but for people and its surroundings too.

Acoustic Floor Mat (AFM) – THE MATERIAL FOR FLOATING FLOOR APPLICATIONS
Acoustic Floor Mats are highly effective and cost-efficient solutions made of foamed polyurethane designed to reduce impact noise transmitted through floors. They provide highly resilient impact noise protection in commercial and industrial premises, as well as residential and public buildings.

  • Rate of impact noise reduction of up to 33 dB
  • CE certified

Sylomer Marine (DMV Type Approval) – THE MATERIAL FOR SHIPBUILDING AND OFFSHORE CONSTRUCTION
For decades, the elastic polyurethane Sylomer® has been successfully used on ships and yachts.

Sylomer® Marine is a new product range from Getzner Werkstoffe that has been specially certified for use as a vibration isolation solution in the shipbuilding sector and for offshore platforms. The resilient, vibration-isolating bearings reduce wear, noise and damage to the infrastructure to a minimum.

Sylomer® Marine is maintenance-free and makes it possible to lower the height of typical floor constructions without reducing efficiency. Compared to other materials it has a very low static to dynamic stiffness ratio and is, therefore, much more acoustically effective.
